BT engineer upgrading a cabinet for fibre broadband

Where and when

We're bringing better, faster broadband to parts of Derbyshire.

This includes upgrading 87 telephone exchanges and more than 600 structures which contain the technology needed to give homes and businesses throughout Derbyshire access to fibre-enabled broadband.

Broadband availability checker

If your area is covered by our programme, you can use BT's broadband availability checker to see the potential speed you may get if you upgrade your current broadband service to receive fibre broadband.

How to use the checker

Either enter your phone number (without any spaces) or select the address checker. The telephone and address checker are the most accurate ways of providing this information.

The information supplied through the BT broadband availability checker is beyond our control. However, if you cannot find out the information for your property, then please contact us.

Ordering fibre broadband

If fibre-enabled broadband is showing as available then you can order better, faster broadband for your home or business. Find out how to place an order in 5 easy steps.

It may take up to 2 weeks between a structure being enabled and you being able to order an upgraded product or services from an internet service provider of your choice.
