BT engineer upgrading a cabinet for fibre broadband

In March 2020 Ofcom launched the universal service obligation

This gives a legal right for residents and businesses to request a decent, affordable broadband connection from BT (KCOM in the Hull area).

A decent and affordable broadband connection is defined in law as a service with a download speed of at least 10Mbps and an upload speed of at least 1Mbps, costing £46.10 or less a month.
