Business support programmes

Currently, there are two separate funding programmes for businesses relating to the digital economy. These are funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF) and will be providing support, skills, advice and grants to businesses relating to the digital economy.

The D2N2 Digital Growth Programme

The D2N2 Digital Growth Programme (opens in a new window) aims to deliver 340 free workshops across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire between 2017 and 2019 to support local small to medium sized enterprises (SME's) with digital marketing and technology. Ongoing support from dedicated digital skills advisers and grant funding opportunities will also be available through this programme.

Superfast South Yorkshire (SFSY) Connection and Innovation Vouchers Scheme

The Superfast South Yorkshire (SFSY) Connection and Innovation Vouchers Scheme (opens in a new window) aims to encourage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to take-up faster digital connectivity to assist with improved business performance. This is mainly via connection and innovation vouchers.

Districts covered by this programme in Derbyshire include:

  • Bolsover
  • Chesterfield
  • Derbyshire Dales
  • North East Derbyshire.
